WIRELESS NETWORKING + TECHNOLOGY CONCIERGE™ INITIATIVE

We are a technology education company that works exclusively with seniors to introduce and support them through their discovery of the wonders of computing and the Internet. We have partnered with the New York Public Library in their efforts to bridge the Digital Divide.

We are searching for progressive Continuing Care Retirement Communities / Independent Living facilities (or a developer of such facilities), to implement our Wireless Networking + Technology Concierge™ initiative. Our plan is to:

1. Establish a wireless network that piggybacks the existing broadband Internet connection used by your on-site administrative staff.

2. Wirelessly transmit the Internet signal throughout the facility allowing residents, guests and staff to securely access the Internet from their desktop or laptop computers

3. Provide daily, ON-SITE educational and in-person computer help services to residents…a Technology Concierge™ (NOT a 1-800 connection to an overseas help-line)

4. And execute all of this at NO cost to the facility or its developer. We have secured financing that would enable us to fund the cost of the wireless installation AND provide on-site earlSpeak technology support services at a cost to the residents that is equivalent to the standard monthly price of broadband access charged by existing vendors. There is NO recurring charge to the facility.

Why should you participate?

a. BENEFITS TO RESIDENTS: Wireless access to the Internet for themselves and their guests (e.g. visiting family members) supplemented with regularly scheduled computer classes and in-person computer help services in their apartments when they need some extra help.

b. BENEFITS TO FACILITY/DEVELOPER: Internet access is rapidly becoming a necessity…a utility.  Harness our passion for technology education and combine the provision of basic Internet access with the service of a Technology Concierge™. With our help, you'll be able to offer a cutting edge service to an older demographic that is often left behind in this high-tech world.

Over the past five years, we’ve been continuously fine-tuning our hands-on teaching methods and our curriculum while working with thousands of students in continuing care retirement communities, senior centers, church groups, alumni organizations, public libraries, hospital outreach centers, etc.

We are especially proud of our continuing relationship with the New York Public Library and its “Click on” effort (to bridge the digital divide). Every month we teach numerous classes covering topics from: Introduction to Computers to the various Microsoft Office applications. The New York Public Library also commissioned earlSpeak to write a step-by-step instruction manual for the computer novice.

We’ve invested a lot of resources in this plan and welcome the opportunity to discuss what we can offer your community. We welcome your questions and look forward to working together. For more information, please contact Ferdinand Poon at ferdinand.poon@earlspeak.com or 212-966-8273.
